Countries · The country layer
Continents split into countries, countries into ledgers. A country file is where a nation's two ledgers meet — what the world spends inside, what the country spends outside. The layer opens with the outbound-dossier markets; every other country below carries its TIO coverage and an honest status, nothing more.
The Read. 71 countries carry TIO coverage today; 18 have or are receiving the full two-ledger file. The rest keep honest placeholder pages — a country appears here only with its real TIO pages, never with borrowed numbers.
Method. Countries are attached to the continents of the TIO regional map; statuses are editorial and current as of October 2026. Full files are two-ledger pages with sourced figures; placeholders carry coverage links only.
